Slayblade Tier Lists & Builds
Provisional rankings and loadouts while the demo teaches the meta.
Welcome to the Slayblade tier list hub. Rankings here are pre-release and demo-informed. They exist to help you shop with intent before the full Steam launch on August 20, 2026—not to pretend a frozen competitive ladder already exists for a single-player roguelite.
What you will find
Start with the Parts Tier List for archetype grades: control, stamina drain, arena reshape, and cube engines. Then open Beginner Builds for kits you can explain in one sentence, and Advanced Builds for high-variance merges that demand sharp cube routing.
How to use ranks honestly
A part graded highly in the demo may slide when the other fifty percent of the roster arrives. Conversely, a quirky tip might explode once more enablers unlock. Re-test favourites after each major patch and cross-read Part Combos plus How to Win Battles so mechanical skill still outranks spreadsheet worship.
Link builds back to the run
Builds fail when cash and matchmaking fail. Keep How to Earn Cash, the Run Checklist, and Demo Progress in your tab set. New players should still begin at Getting Started before copying any advanced nonsense.
Philosophy of this hub
We grade for demo clarity, cube synergy, and forgiveness—not for toxic gatekeeping. Slayblade is chill on purpose. If a build makes you smile and clear street nodes, it is S-tier for your night even if our table says otherwise. Track launch changes via Release Date and Demo Notes, and keep Steam bookmarked through Official Links.
Use this hub as a living notebook. Update your personal keepers after every session, and return here when the shop screen starts to blur.
Ranking methodology
We weigh clarity of plan, cube dependence, forgiveness, and demo availability. We do not weigh influencer hype. When two archetypes are close, the more teachable one ranks higher for this wiki’s audience.
Updating cadence
Expect revisions after launch week and after any patch that touches actives. Follow Updates Hub for timing. Bring personal results back into Advanced Builds notes.

How newcomers should browse ranks
Do not memorize letters. Pick one archetype from the Parts Tier List, install it via Beginner Builds, and only then peek at Advanced Builds. Ranks without reps are cosplay. Pair every browsing session with at least one live demo fight so your hands vote.
Relationship to review scores
Our Slayblade Review talks about vibe and teaching quality. This hub talks about shopping quality. You can love the game and still grade a part low. You can dislike a placeholder tooltip and still rank an active highly once you feel it. Keep those judgments separate so launch week stays sane.
Maintenance promise
When Steam patches rearrange actives, we revise archetypes first and celebrity part names second. That keeps advice durable across the missing half of the roster still locked behind August 20.
